MAX 2006 Keynote

Today is the first day of MAX. The keynote this morning was awesome, especially with the Blue Man Group starting the session off with some entertainment. I had only seen them on commericals (Intel?)--they were quite cool in person.

Adobe made lots of announcements. Here is my raw rundown of what happened:

Website Workflow

new vision for "Website Workflow": Voxi Energy Drink demo

Adobe Photoshop --> Adobe Fireworks (no more ImageReady) --> can share layers and output

Adobe Photoshop --> Copy & Paste to Dreamweaver (code name Hanzo) --> Dreamweaver exports from Photoshop and automatically creates a jpg version and asks for alt text

Then double-click image in Dreamweaver activates Photoshop, make edits, automatically updates jpg for Dreamweaver.

Dreamweaver --> Spry integration

New --> ColdFusion/Flex Application Wizard
Create new pages, link to datasources (Query Builder like in Report Builder), show selected fields, and sort [key, display, editable, required, label, input control, validation, mask, etc.]

new LiveCycle Designer has a flex wizard to co-generate a flex app, PDF and the code to tie them together
